How to Volunteer at JWPOSD

We are pleased that you are interested in volunteering at Jean Weingarten Peninsula Oral School for the Deaf. Ongoing Maintenance

Dear Families,

We have been asked to include a list of our maintenance needs on this page so that when parents are coming to school for a morning they might look and check to see what needs are there and then bring the appropriate tools to work on a project. Some of these can be done in a morning, some will take a few parents getting together with either Angelica Aguilar or Mary Ruth on a Saturday to accomplish. · Install the light fixture in the childcare playroom.

· The white fence in front of Family Center needs touch up painting.

· Washing the banisters and woodwork around the doors at both the School and Family Center

· Move gravel off the playground and to the side of the school

· Pressures wash the playground structure

· Pressure wash the wall outside of the annex room where the fern tree is
growing, it is black mold.

· Add 'fall' to the playground as right now it is hard dirt. (Once we order it, then we can have parents volunteer to shovel it on playground)
